KU softball wins twice
Lexington, Ky. ? Freshman Harli Ridling’s team-leading seventh home run of the season gave Kansas University its second-straight come-from-behind win as the Jayhawks defeated Fairfield, 6-4, on Friday. The Jayhawks defeated Kent State, 6-2, earlier Friday.
The Jayhawks (22-9) trailed Fairfield through the first four innings before KU’s offense erupted for four runs in the bottom half of the fourth to take the lead. Ridling’s two-run shot to left field gave KU a two-run advantage.
