Lawrence Habitat for Humanity names new executive director

Lori Harse

Lawrence Habitat for Humanity has a new executive director — and she has a familiar face.

Lori Harse will lead the local agency after serving for the past six years as director of operations and as an administrative assistant for a year before that.

She will continue to manage and oversee all in-house mortgages, and will provide leadership on issues ranging from budget supervision to recruiting and developing board and committee members.

Lawrence Habitat for Humanity provides low-income families in Douglas and Jefferson counties with simple, affordable housing. It has built or repaired more than 82 homes since 1989.
