Free State High senior Alexa Harmon-Thomas won two events at the New Balance Nationals Indoor on Saturday in New York, N.Y.

Harmon-Thomas, who was competing in the pentathlon, won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.84 seconds and finished first in the long jump with a leap of 5.51 meters. She also took fourth place in the shot put.
