Project Graduation Lawrence has put together a graduation party for seniors from all area high schools.

Project Graduation invites members of the 2014 graduating class to join them for a fun, safe, drug- and alcohol-free graduation celebration from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. May 21 from at Abe & Jake’s Landing. Graduates can come together to eat, dance, play games, win prizes and celebrate their achievements.

The theme for this year’s celebration is “Casino Night.” Prizes will include a flat-screen TV, digital tablet, dorm furniture, gift cards, cash and a car. Tickets for the event are $10.

To help with the success of Project Graduation 2014, the planning committee is asking for volunteers, monetary donations and photos of your seniors. Those wishing to volunteer the night of the event can sign up by emailing volunteers@projectgraduationlawrence.org. Those wishing to make donations to the event can email donations@projectgraduationlawrence.org or mail a check to Project Graduation 2014, PO Box 3083, Lawrence, KS 66046.
