Veritas boys fall at KCAA

— Veritas Christian’s boys basketball team fell to Wichita Sunrise Christian, 74-52, on Tuesday in the third-place game of the KCAA tournament.

Drake Napier scored 13 points and pulled down nine rebounds, Michael Rask scored nine points, and Miles Dressler and Mark Weinhold scored seven points apiece for Veritas.

Veritas finished 14-12.

“I thought our team throughout the whole year got better every game,” Veritas coach Blake Mudd said. “Our kids worked really hard. The future is very bright for us.”
