Marshall, Mo. ? The Baker University women’s basketball team captured an outright Heart of America Athletic Conference regular-season championship with a 62-50 victory on Saturday at Missouri Valley.

It is the Wildcats’ first league title since 1983 and earns them a bid to the NAIA Tournament. Baker (24-5, 17-1) will be the top seed for the HAAC Conference Tournament.
