Eudora High sweeps Seabury

? Bishop Seabury’s boys basketball team was neck-and-neck with Eudora High during the first quarter, but it was all Cardinals after that as the Seahawks lost, 76-45, Friday at EHS.

“It was a tight ballgame with the lead going back and forth, but then the back defensive line fell apart,” Seabury coach Ashley Battles said.

Seabury freshman Mikey Wycoff scored a game-high 26 points.

The Seahawks (12-6) will host Olathe Heritage Christian on Tuesday to begin sub-state.

Eudora — Eudora put the game out of reach with a 29-10 first-half advantage. Emma Stilgenbauer led the Seahawks in double figures with 12 points.

Seabury (6-9) will play Mission Valley today to kick off sub-state.
