Raiders lose to Wichita, 6-4

Jacob Seratte hit a double and two singles, driving in one run, but the Lawrence Raiders American Legion baseball team lost, 6-4, to the Wichita Reds on Friday night at Kansas University’s Hoglund Ballpark.

The Raiders briefly led, 1-0, in the top of the third inning but the Reds scored in four straight innings, while Lawrence committed four errors.

Easton Barnes earned the losing decision on the mound, while Ryan Cantrell had two hits and scored two runs.

The Raiders (6-8) will play Tuesday in Lawrence, but the opponent and time are still to be determined.
