Liberty Hall’s first installment in its “Guestploitation” series of Christopher Guest films is “A Mighty Wind,” a mockumentary about three 1960s folk acts who reunite for a memorial concert honoring their departed manager. The show starts at 7 p.m. at Liberty Hall, 644 Massachusetts St.

Shakespeare in the summer

Summer Youth Theater Senior Players present “Twelfth Night,” a Shakespearean comedy about the exploits of the shipwrecked Viola and her path to love and happiness. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire St. Tickets are $7.50 to $10.


Hear the bells

The bells will be ringing on the KU campus tonight for a Carillon recital in the WWII Memorial Campanile. Elizabeth Egbert Berghout will perform on the 53 bronze bells housed in the Campanile at 7:30 p.m. The sound of the carillon is best at least 200 feet from the tower. Some benches are available on Campanile Hill; listeners may choose to bring blankets or lawn chairs. In the event of inclement weather, the recital will be canceled.
