Free State High junior Jack Flynn shot an 8-over par 80 at the Kansas Boys Junior Amateur Championship Thursday at Eagle Bend, adding to his 75 on Wednesday for a total of 155. He finished tied for 51st overall and 15th in the 16-year-old age group.
Free State’s Hunter Dedloff carded an 80 Thursday and finished with a 159, taking 16th place in the 18-year-old group. Sophomore Jack Junge shot an 82 to finish with a 166 and tie for 13th place in the 15-year-old group.
Wichita Kapaun Mt. Carmel’s Sam Stevens, who won the Class 5A state individual boys golf title, won the championship with an 11-under par 133 over the two days.
