Today in Lawrence: Rain in store; puppets at The Bottleneck and authors at The Raven
I love ya, tomorrow
One more day of rain; one more day, and then Wednesday’s forecast is a glorious day of warmth and sunshine. The current forecast calls for a high of 72 today with some showers in the morning. If you can get through that, you can enjoy some cooler temperatures (break those jackets out again) with the low expected to drop to around 58 degrees.
The Felt Show
If you’re looking for something soft and fuzzy and little off the wall, The Felt Show is for you. Doors open at 8 p.m. for the Lawrence-based puppet show. Electric Needle Room opens at 8:30 p.m., and the puppets take the stage after 9 p.m. at The Bottleneck, 737 New Hampshire St.
Authors at The Raven
Want to be a writer? If that life draws you in, writers Harriet Lerner and Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg will share stories of a lifetime of writing in: “The Agony and the Ecstasy of the Writing Life: Writing, Publishing and Promoting.” The event starts at 7 p.m. at The Raven Book Store, 6 E. Seventh St. There will be time for questions, refreshments, a book signing and socializing.
