Cooler temperatures prevail

Forecasts don't call for a hot day, but it will be humid and a few thunderstorms are expected. Showers are expected again Tuesday morning, but then the weather should clear and you can shake off your cabin fever!

Single-ticket sales special

Kick off single-ticket sales at the Lied Center with a one-hour giveaway. From 8 to 9 a.m., you can get a pair of tickets to one of a handful of performances with your 2014-15 Lied Center ticket order. Ticket purchases are recommended at the Lied Center ticket office, 1600 Stewart Drive, but tickets can also be ordered online during that one-hour window and still earn you your free tickets.

Add your voice

Bring your song books, instruments and voices and join in Sacred Singing, 5:30-7 p.m. at the Interfaith Chapel at Ecumenical Campus Ministries, 1204 Oread Ave. The evening will include songs from various spiritual and secular traditions and will start with a short reading from a range of traditions. ECM will also provide instruments and song books.
