Liberty, Mo. ? The Lawrence Raiders American Legion baseball team split its two games Sunday, falling to 68 Inside Sports, 7-0, before defeating the Olathe Blue Sox, 9-1, in four innings.

The Raiders offense had its strongest performance of the season against the Blue Sox. Drew Green paced the Lawrence squad to its first victory with four RBIs.

Briggs Fish earned the win, and also went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs at the plate.

“Everyone felt good leaving the ballpark today,” coach Brad Romme said.

The Raiders improved their record to 1-4 and will host a tournament Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Free State, in which they will play five games total.
