• Barbara Timmerman has been named a 2014 Fellow of the American Society of Pharmacognosy. Timmerman is a distinguished professor of medical chemistry at Kansas University. The distinction is awarded to less than five percent of the professional organization’s members, according to a press release.

• Lawrence Real Estate Connections announced the addition of three new Realtors: Stephen Bonebrake, Kathryn Kugler and Debbie Payne. All three have lived and worked in Lawrence or Kansas for many years, according to a statement.

• Two Lawrence residents have been reappointed to state boards and commissions by Gov. Sam Brownback. K.J. Langlais, the CEO of Evergreen Living Innovations, will return to the Kansas Board of Adult Care Home Administrators for another three-year term. Rebekah Romm-Gordon, the director of Grassroots Advocacy for Hickam Public Affairs, will also take on another three-year term for the State Historic Sites Board of Review.

• Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center announced Joshua Reese has been named team leader of the Adult Outpatient Program and Amy Warren will be the coordinator of a new health-home program called Health Connections.
