Opinions matter

If you want a chance to weigh in on construction of a future transit center at 21st and Iowa, today is your chance. A public meeting regarding the future transit center is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Carnegie Building, 200 W. Ninth St. Topics discussed at the public meetings will include what a transit center is, how to approach restructuring services and the proposed location.

The market offers local food at a great value, and the weather will be perfect for a stroll through the booths of more than 100 vendors.
