KU, school in Ghana sign agreement

Kansas University has signed an agreement with a university in Ghana to help address health and development issues in the African country.

The agreement between KU and the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Development Services in the city of Tamale will start student and faculty exchange and training programs aimed at improving local communities in Ghana.

The university in Ghana will be working with Stephen Fawcett, director of Work Group for Community Health and Development, an affiliated center of KU’s Life Span Institute.
