Seabury boys win Immaculata tourney

? Mikey Wycoff scored 19 points, and Thomas Uhler pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Seabury Academy’s boys basketball team past Kansas City Christian, 60-49, on Saturday for the championship of the Immaculata Raider Invitational.

Avery Rouser scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Joe Simpson scored nine points for the Seahawks, who led from start to finish.

“Any time you bring home hardware, it’s a good night, so we’re happy about that,” Seabury coach Ashley Battles said. “We were locked in all night long. It started with our defense. We played really sound defense.”

Wycoff was named the tournament’s most outstanding player.

Seabury (7-1) will play Wednesday at Kansas Ciity (Mo.) Pembroke Hill.
