Kaw Valley Seed Fair coming to Lawrence in February
The fifth annual Kaw Valley Seed Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
The fair provides opportunities for people to share seeds, information and other gardening and seed-saving resources. It is organized by the Kansas Area Watershed Council. Admission is free.
The event has drawn more than 1,000 attendees each year, according to a statement. More than 30 area organizations and vendors will be present to offer educational information and products for gardening and farming.
