Area basketball roundup: Eudora boys win first-round game at Tonganoxie Invitational

Eudora 73, Jefferson West 60

Tonganoxie — Austin Downing scored 22 points, and Mitchell Ballock had 21 as Eudora High beat Jefferson West on Monday in an opening game of the Tonganoxie Basketball Invitational.

Ballock also led the way with nine rebounds, and his four assists tied brother Andrew Ballock for the team-high. Mitchell Ballock also contributed two blocks.

Eudora will play again on Friday against host Tonganoxie, which plays Jefferson West today at 7:30 p.m.
