To the editor:

Something that I think Lawrence needs to improve on is having places for teens to hang out. There is literally nowhere for one to go and hang with their friends.

We need to have something like a laser tag or go carts, just a fun place to be with your friends. Downtown isn’t enough. One can only walk around for an extended period of time. Don’t get me wrong, downtown is a sweet place, but that’s for college students and not teens.

Also, Lawrence needs to loosen the noose on not letting big companies set up shop. They are losing business. Almost everybody I know has to go to either Kansas City or Topeka to get something that Lawrence doesn’t really have.

So to restate, Lawrence needs better places to hang out (I hang out at a grocery store for crying out loud!) and then let some bigger companies come to town.
