Seabury girls 37, McLouth 26
McLouth — Reilly Malone had 10 points and nine rebounds, and Seabury Academy’s girls basketball team defeated McLouth on Tuesday night.
Regan Zaremba scored eight points and Mariah Smith added five points for Seabury, which improved to 2-1.
“The girls struggled with their shot but found a way to pull out a victory,” Seabury coach Keith Smith said. “Their rebounding and defense was fantastic. We’ve been working quite a bit on boxing out and rebounding.”

Seabury boys 82, McLouth 33
McLouth — Freshman Mikey Wycoff paced Seabury with 24 points in the Seahawks’ victory against McLouth.
Marcus Allen chipped in 24 points and the tandem of Avery and Jomain Rouser combined for 23 points.
The Seahawks improved to 2-0 with the win and head coach Ashley Battles said the team was eager to play after putting in a lot of preparation.
“After a lot of practice and not playing any games, they were chomping at the bit to play somebody else,” Battles said.
The Seahawks will attempt to push their record to 3-0 next Tuesday against Christ Prep in Leawood.
