Salina — Sunrise Christian broke open a close game in the third quarter and defeated Veritas Christian, 52-29, on Thursday in the KCAA girls basketball tournament.

Tori Huslig led Veritas with 14 points, and Hannah Gloss added eight points. Veritas (11-12) will play Smoky Valley at 10 a.m. today.
