Kansas Insurance Commissioner to speak on Affordable Care Act
Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger will speak Sunday about the Affordable Care Act at the Unitarian Fellowship of Lawrence.
Praeger, a Kansas University graduate and former mayor of Lawrence, has worked to bring information about the Affordable Care Act and its impact on consumers, businesses and policy makers to Kansans.
At the event, Praeger will talk about Medicaid expansions in Kansas. Currently, Kansas has refused to take advantage of the ACA provisions allowing expansions of Medicaid coverage.
