KU track teams tune up in Indiana

? The Kansas University women’s distance medley relay team ran the third-fastest time in school history as KU track and field athletes competed on Saturday at the Alex Wilson Invitational.

KU’s Whitney Adams, Hannah Richardson, Rhavean King and Natalie Becker combined for the fourth-place time of 11:14.63. The mark was among the top 20 in the nation this season.

The Jayhawks will head to Ames, Iowa, next week for the Big 12 Indoor Championships. The league meet begins Friday and concludes Saturday.
