A few losses last week knocked a couple of area boys basketball teams down in this week’s coaches poll.

Lawrence High’s boys dropped to No. 6 in the Class 6A poll released Monday by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association. The Lions fell four slots from last week after losing to Shawnee Mission Northwest in overtime on Tuesday.

Baldwin, which was previously top-seeded in Class 4A-Division I, is ranked No. 3 after losing to Eudora on Tuesday. Eudora is ranked No. 3 in Class 4A-Division II.

Meanwhile, Mill Valley is ranked No. 8 in Class 5A.
