A special screening of Sundance award-winning documentary “After Tiller” will take place at Liberty Hall on Sunday, hosted by the Peggy Bowman Second Chance Fund.

The film follows the only four doctors in the U.S. who still perform late-term abortions, and the title refers to George Tiller, the Wichita physician murdered in 2009. It won the IndieWire Critic’s Poll for best documentary feature at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Co-director Lana Wilson will be present for a reception that will precede the film starting at 5 p.m. A question-and-answer session will conclude the screening.

Tickets can be purchased at Liberty Hall, 644 Massachusetts St. General admission to the screening is $20 and students tickets with valid student ID are $10. Tickets for the wine and cheese reception along with the screening are $50.

The Peggy Bowman Second Chance Fund is a nonprofit organization and an affiliate of the National Network of Abortion Funds. Their mission is to help Kansas woman gain control over their reproductive health care and to give them a second chance.
