Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting two all-day children’s programs Thursday and Friday.

Kids Day Off will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. both days at Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St. Children 5 to 12 years old are invited to participate in the program, which will include swimming at the Indoor Aquatic Center, arts and craft projects and games. Cost is $45 per child.

Additionally, the department’s “Wild Things Camp” will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 S.W. Harper St. Children 6 to 10 years old are eligible to participate in this camp featuring animals, games, hiking and crafts. Cost is $50.
