Officers with the Lawrence Police Department responded to reports of a strong-arm robbery early Sunday morning outside Saints Pub & Patio, 2329 Iowa St.

Police spokesman Sgt. Trent McKinley said two suspects approached two people in the parking lot of Saints Pub & Patio around 2 a.m. Sunday. The suspects demanded the victims turn over their wallets, and when they refused, the suspects took the wallets by physical force, McKinley said.

McKinley described the suspects as one white male and one white female. No arrests had been made Sunday, he said.
