Allen Fieldhouse is going pink Sunday, when the Kansas University women’s basketball teams hosts its annual “Jayhawks for a Cure” game against Oklahoma. Admission is $3 for anyone who wears pink.

Proceeds benefit Lawrence Memorial Hospital and the Kansas University Cancer Center. Last year’s event raised over $50,000.

Fans can submit photos online of themselves, family, friends and loved ones who have been affected by breast cancer to be shown on the Allen Fieldhouse video board during pregame and halftime.

On game day, fans will receive pink rally towels while supplies last and have an opportunity to take a pink photo with Big Jay and Baby Jay. Photos are $2 each, with all the proceeds also going to “Jayhawks for a Cure.”

Pink straws, cups and cotton candy will be for sale at concession stands with a portion of the proceeds going to “Jayhawks for a Cure.” Kansas Athletics will donate $1 for every person in attendance, while head coach Bonnie Henrickson will give an additional $1 for every student at the game.

A live postgame auction will take place on the court. Items to be bid on include a Big 12 road trip, a foursome at the Bonnie Henrickson Golf Tournament, women’s basketball season tickets, a Hardwood Club membership and honorary coach opportunities.
