Garnett — Louisburg High held off a fourth-quarter Baldwin comeback in Friday’s third-place game of the Bulldog/Wildcat Classic.

Louisburg jumped on top early, building a 19-10 lead at the end of the first quarter against a Baldwin team playing without starting 6-7 starting center Christian Gaylord, who was in Texas for an all-star football game.

Baldwin caught Louisburg at 43-43 early in the fourth quarter as junior Jackson Barth, who finished with a team-high 19 points, knocked down a three-pointer and converted two turnovers into layups.
