The Senate Confirmation Oversight Committee on Thursday approved Gov. Sam Brownback’s recent nominations to the Kansas Board of Regents.

Approved to four-year terms to the board that oversees public higher education in Kansas were Joseph Bain of Goodland; Bill Feuerborn of Garnett; and Zoe Newton of Sedan.
