LMH adds water to 5K benefit run

What could be more refreshing during a summer run than a little water? Just one thing: lots of water! Lawrence Memorial Hospital is adding gallons of H2O — and fun — to its sixth annual 5K series benefiting LMH and the neighboring communities it serves.

Returning to Baldwin City, the LMH Summer Spray 5K Run/Walk Series is for all ages and abilities. As participants run or walk our USA Track & Field-certified course, they’ll to be sprinkled, squirted, splashed and, of course, sprayed — all for good fun and two great causes. While half of the proceeds from the race will support one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals, the other half will go back to the community through a wellness grant. Give a little and get soaked in return!

Register online at www.lmhendowment.org. To save $5 on adult registration, preregister by one week before the 5K. Register at the race one hour before the start time at the event site. Adult pre-registration is $25; adult registration is $30; registration for kids 12 and younger is $10. For more information, please contact Tracy Davidson at 505-3318 or tracy.davidson@lmh.org.
