Des Moines, Iowa ? Free State sophomore Avin Lane finished fifth among 15-16-year-old boys in the 200-meter dash at the AAU Junior Olympics, Saturday at Drake University.

Lane, the seventh seed, sprinted to a time of 22.12. He teamed with FSHS junior Ronald White on the 365 Blaze Track Club’s 4×100 relay team, taking 10th (43.92) Friday.
