A 22-year-old Lawrence man pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated indecent liberties with a child in connection with a charge stemming from early 2013.

Anthony T. White entered the plea in Douglas County District Court on Friday, and District Judge Kay Huff set his sentencing for June 10. As part of a plea agreement, both parties recommended probation.

White has been free on a $10,000 bond since his May 20, 2013, arrest. On Friday, White’s attorney, Angela Keck, said that White and a girl between the age of 14 to 16, engaged in consensual sexual activity between January and March 2013 at Holcomb Park, 2601 West 25th St.

Keck also said she would file a motion to challenge a requirement that White be under lifetime post-release supervision.
