Manhattan — Coleman Houk placed 18th as Free State’s golfers took third Monday in the eight-team Manhattan High Invite.

Houk shot an 84 to lead the Firebirds.

Prairie Village — Free State’s Matt Siler and Lawrence High’s Dawson Dykes each carded rounds of 87 to lead city golfers Monday in the Shawnee Mission East Invitational at Meadowbrook Country Club.

The Firebirds placed 12th out of 16 teams with a total of 363, while the Lions took 14th with 374.
