A 20-year-old Tonganoxie man was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon in Jefferson County, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Blake A. Sneed was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 24 when he lost control and went into a ditch, striking a culvert, the report said. The accident occurred at about 3 p.m. a mile east of Perry.

Sneed was wearing a helmet, according to the report.

He was a 2011 Basehor-Linwood High School graduate.
