Colorado man injured in motorcycle crash on K-10

A Colorado man was hospitalized Saturday after losing control of his motorcycle on Kansas Highway 10 in Douglas County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Brandon Lee McReynolds, of Wray, Colo., was driving his 2008 Honda motorcycle eastbound on K-10 at a high rate of speed in the passing lane. He lost control of the motorcycle and veered off the highway around milepost 11.9. The motorcycle overturned multiple times and came to rest in the south ditch.

McReynolds suffered injuries and was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center just after 3 p.m. Saturday. His condition was unknown Sunday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, McReynolds was wearing a helmet.
