KU women’s golf a stroke out of 1st

? Two Kansas University women’s golfers are in the top 10, and the Jayhawks are just a stroke out of first place after the first two rounds of the Challenge at Onion Creek on Monday.

KU’s Thanuttra Boonraksasat is tied for third at 72-70–140, and teammate Yupaporn Kawinpakorn is tied for eighth at 74-71–145.

Other KU scores: Pornvipa Sakdee, 15th, 77-70–147; Meghan Potee, tied for 27th, 73-73–151; and Minami Levonowich, tied for 39th, 80-75–155.

Texas Tech leads the team race with a 582, and KU is second at 583. Miami is third at 584 and Texas State a stroke back in fourth.

The tournament will conclude today.
