Musician and author James Greer will be signing copies of his new short-story collection, “Everything Flows,” from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Raven Book Store, 6 E. Seventh St.

“Everything Flows” is an assortment of 19 stories, which are described as “surreal and fractured, reassembling traditional narrative into something coherent, yet undulant.” The book also features the art of Guided By Voices front man Robert Pollard.

After the book signing, Greer will perform with his band, DTCV, at 9 p.m. at the Jackpot Saloon, 943 Massachusetts St.
