Olathe ? Free State High’s girls golf team finished fourth among 11 schools, and the Firebirds’ Emily Bermel was third out of more than 50 golfers Thursday in the Olathe South 9 Hole Invitational.

Bermel fired a 40 to lead the Firebirds. Karen Campbell shot a 47, Erin Meyers a 51, Anne Goebel a 51 and Catie Griffin a 60.
