Benedictine upends Baker

? No. 14 Benedictine ended No. 8 Baker University’s seven-game winning streak, 42-28, on Saturday.

It was Benedictine’s first victory over Baker since the 2005 season opener.

The Ravens (3-0, 1-0 Heart of America Athletic Conference) rolled up 685 yards to total offense.

Baker (2-1, 0-1) rolled up 544 total yards.

Free State High product Camren Torneden rushed for 119 yards and had 43 receiving yards for Baker. Fellow former Free Stater Dylan Perry had four catches for 85 yards and a TD.

Baker will host Avila at 6 p.m. Saturday.
