Olathe ? Lawrence High’s volleyball team went 1-2 in a quadrangular Thursday night at Olathe South.

The Lions lost to Olathe South, 25-21, 25-10, and to Shawnee Mission South, 17-25, 25-11, 25-20, and defeated Shawnee Mission West, 21-25, 25-18, 25-22.

Leaders for the Lions (4-8) were Jess Lemus with 19 digs, Caitin Broadwell with 15 digs and 12 kills, Marlee Bird with 36 assists, Kyleigh Severa with 24 assists, Caroline Dykes with 20 kills, Cienna Sorell with 10 kills and Sami Buffalomeat with 10 kills.

The Lions’ junior varsity went 2-1 at Olathe South. The LHS JV (3-4) lost to Olathe South, 25-19, 25-11, but defeated Shawnee Mission West, 25-18, 25-9, and Shawnee Mission South, 25-6, 25-16.
