Kansas City, Kan. — JT Howell broke off a 54-yard run for the go-ahead touchdown and Eudora beat Kansas City Piper.

Eudora quarterback Andrew Ballock completed 10 of 18 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown — a 26-yard throw to Mitchell Ballock in the first quarter.

The Cardinals (1-0) host Louisburg on Friday in Eudora.
