Dole Institute will hold annual tribute, USO-style gala Nov. 10
The Dole Institute of Politics will hold its annual recognition of veterans from the Kansas University ROTC program on Nov. 10.
The Tribute to Veterans & USO-Style Gala will be at the Institute, 2350 Petefish Dr., from 6-8:30 p.m. There will be a salute to the veterans at 6 p.m., followed by dancing and live music from the WWII era played by the Moonlight Serenade Orchestra.
Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be offered.
The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. To register, call the Institute at 785-864-4900 by Nov. 3.
