Douglas County Treasurer Paula Gilchrist is looking for 12 artists to exhibit their works in the Douglas County Courthouse in Lawrence.

Interested artists should submit one work sample to the treasurer’s office on the main floor of the courthouse, 1100 Massachusetts St., by 4 p.m. on Nov. 5. Four pieces of art will be selected to hang on the second-floor rotunda of the courthouse while the other eight will be featured in the Treasurer’s Gallery on the first floor.

The artworks will be chosen by a group of six county officials.
