Playing their final tournament this fall, the Jayhawks shot a 10-under 854 for their best team finish of the season. Sophomore Ben Welle led KU with a 7-under 209, which was good for a four-way tie at sixth place.

Kansas’ Logan Philley (tied 16th, 214), Connor Peck (tied 22nd, 217), Chase Hanna (tied 34th, 220) and Jackson Foth (tied 47th, 223) all finished in the top half of the field.

The Jayhawks will resume play on Feb. 21 at the University of Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate.
