Lubbock, Texas ? Janine Beckie’s goal just under 15 minutes in lifted Texas Tech to a 1-0 Big 12 soccer victory over Kansas University on Friday at John Walker Stadium.

Tech (14-1-2 overall, 4-0-2 Big 12) outshot Kansas (6-9-2, 1-4-1), 15-10. Each team had four shots on goal.

Caroline Kastor and Jamie Fletcher each took five shots for Kansas.

The Jayhawks will travel Sunday to Oklahoma State.
