Death of Horrorshow director delays production

The opening night of EMU Theatre’s “Horrorshow VII: Tales of Monsters, Malevolence and Mercy” will be postponed until next week because of the death of one of the directors.

The Horrorshow is a collection of six short plays, one of which was directed by David Butterfield, who died Monday. EMU theatre is an all-volunteer group of community members who write, direct and act in original plays.

The show will open at 7:30 on Oct. 31 and run through Nov. 2 at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire St. Tickets are $7.50.
