Letter: Traffic snag
To the editor:
The detour using Rockledge Road for the Sixth and Iowa rebuild is going to cause havoc. Unless the the Merc’s north entrance is closed for at least the duration of the project, there will be backups or at least Ninth and Iowa backups due to that business’s patrons use of that way to access that parking lot.
It is a daily battle for motorists to deal with every day even without thousands of new cars and trucks being run through there to accommodate the road construction! Please, look for a way to eliminate this traffic snag before it causes an accident!
