KU bowling takes 6th in Mid-States Tournament

The Kansas University men’s club bowling team finished sixth out of 21 schools at the Mid-States Collegiate Tournament at Wichita last weekend. KU, which moved up to sixth after sitting in seventh after Day One, was above the field average by eight pins per game.

Tyler Woods led the Jayhawks with a 200.67 average and placed 11th overall, while Dylan Burns and Jessy Bauer both averaged over 190 and finished in the top 30.

Kyle Rosberg (176.60), Chris Flowers (168.80) and Ryan Miller (168.75) also posted averages above 165.

KU will head to Peoria, Ill., to bowl in the Kegel/ISBPA Collegiate Classic this weekend.
